An interest of mine, is our associations with certain objects and how objects become prompts for recollection. I'm fascinated by the way in which we keep certain objects for years, as mementoes of a past time and place. I enjoy representing myself and people with objects that belong to them, making the things we surround ourselves with part of who we are.
I created a Family Portrait with each person being represented by their very own tooth. Within the personal stories associated with teeth and loosing them as children as well as adults, there is the collective experience that exists.
